Our vision

Restraint is the product.

To us, the promise of AI is that it makes life easier. Something that gives us time back. Quietly handling the small, mundane stuff so we can get back to things we’d rather be doing. One area we felt deserved a little love is online shopping. Major retailers have deployed their own AI agents to help with this already, but one critical area where they fall short is Cartright’s key differentiator: where they live. Sparky (Walmart) and Rufus (Amazon) require you to interact with them within their respective apps or websites. This is completely understandable, why wouldn’t they? You’re already there to shop, so it makes sense to have them alongside you.

But what about the rest of the time? What about the random, fleeting moments throughout the day when we’re reminded “shoot, I need to get more paper towels” or “I keep forgetting to look for those deck chairs.” You could stop what you’re doing and take care of it, but you don’t. Real life is busy and things that don’t fit naturally into our daily flow just don’t get done.

That’s the gap Cartright aims to live in. A personal shopping agent that lives directly inside your favorite messaging apps. Pop open the thread, shoot off a message, and move on with your day. That’s it.

Working with a shopping agent shouldn’t be a hassle. Cartright is built to start delivering on that promise. Onboarding takes a few minutes. After that, it’s as hands-off as you want it to be. Due for a reorder? Cartright sends a reminder with a pre-built cart. Want Cartright to watch for price drops? It’ll do that too. All of this happens completely in the background while you get on with the rest of your life. Think of something you need to remember to reorder later? Just send a message and Cartright will make sure you don’t forget.

Cartright is designed to be as simple and unobtrusive as possible. A tool that respects your time and, hopefully, gives you some back.
